Gabor
Bolla wins New York jazz scholarship
Another dream of Gabor Bolla will come true when he will
travel to New York to master his saxophone skills.
He won the scholarship, worth 3600 euros, from the Austrian Music
Office. Led by
Matthias Ruegg, the AMO also finances
the Hans Koller Prize and the European Jazz Prize.
At the
award ceremony in Vienna's Porgy and Bess Club,
Gabor also performed with two other prize winners, bassist Matthias
Pichler and drummer Bernd Reiter who also won
a New York scholarship.
